Hey Internet! It’s Friday! Rejoice!!
It has been a BUSY week around here, so let’s jump in!
In case you missed it, this Tuesday I told the first part of my first-ever camping story. It’s a real doozy, so if you didn’t catch it you can read it here and stop by next Tuesday to hear the ending. (It’s great!)
If you follow me on instagram, you probably know that I am a tad bit obsessed with my cat, Binx. What you may not know is that I am a bit allergic to him. Now, this week I started leaving my bedroom door open while I sleep (something I never do because I think it makes me break out). I am trying to prepare him (and me) for a day in the future when I move out. My cat is prone to anxiety and I am afraid he won’t adjust well if I ever take him out of the company of my current cats. But at some point I need to move out, and I can’t just abandon my cat! So I have a question for you, Internet: Do you have any allergy secrets? I am taking Claritin. Is there something that works better for you? Because it’s been two nights with my cats having access to my pillows and I can feel a difference. (Note: a solution is NOT “don’t buy an animal you are allergic to” nor is “get rid of your cats.” Given the choice between a bit of acne and a slight wheeze and no cats, I would choose allergies every time)
On Wednesday night, a friend from college and I met up and went to a wine bar and a fro-yo shop. It was pretty magical. We had some sangria and some warm goat cheese dip and shared a BLT Panini and then made our own Fro-yo sundaes (they had Peanut Butter Fro-Yo AND Cake Better Fro-Yo – I. Was. In. Heaven.) Friend dates really are just so magical – It was great to catch up and to eat ALL THE FOOD and just hang out for the first time in WAY too long. Plus – WINE BAR!
Guys – I have STILL not seen The Muppets Most Wanted or Divergent! How has that even happened?!? It is very upsetting, but I have no idea when I will have time to remedy this situation. Have you guys seen them? Are they magic?
This past weekend my mom and I made our dining reservations for Disney this summer! We got some choice reservations and cannot wait for all the face-stuffing that will be taking place! Now we just have to figure out this new fast-pass system. Anybody out there have any tips or trick on that?
